In a much anticipated match, SF jumped out to an early lead by kicking two penalties within the first 8 minutes. At 11 minutes OMBAC answered with try under the posts by Brian Leauma which Matt Alexander converted giving OMBAC a 7-6 lead. OMBAC never looked back scoring 6 more tries over the course of the match. Two minutes after Leauma's try Chris Frara ran in an unconverted try from the left wing. At 18 minutes, second row Damian Coonan touched down for a converted try after both he and his second row partner Mike Underhill handled the ball. At 24 minutes right wing Ryan Andree ran in a converted try. Matt Alexander finished the first half scoring with a penaly kick at 35 minutes. OMBAC's lead at the half was 29-6. Four minutes into the second half SF scored their first converted try. Five minuted later fullback Sam Gonzales scored a converted try, rapidly followed by an unconverted try at 13 minutes of the second half by Matt Alexander. Fifteen minutes later replacement wing Andrew Webb finished OMBAC's scoring with the seventh try of the afternoon, which Alexander again converted. SF scored their second converted try of the day at 31 minutes of the second half to end the scoring. Final score OMBAC 48 - SF 20.
